Generally speaking, Petco Love Lost pulls your animal data only. This does vary slightly by database. We are unable to see into your database. The information we receive is sent from your database into ours and very limited data of each animal is displayed to the public.
With both ShelterLuv and ShelterBuddy we do receive an email address and a zip code from adopters and reclaimers. This allows Petco Love Lost to send a follow up email to those pet parents to encourage them to register their pet on Petco Love Lost. This is a fantastic feature because during time of adoption/reclaim, we all know that the pet parent is comprehending a fraction of what is being explained to them. So the follow up email acts a reminder or refresh of a small amount of information they learned while adopting/reclaiming. We send an email a total of 3 times in the span of 28 days. If the pet parent does not register, their email address goes into an archive and they are never contacted again. We do not send any other emails to them.
