How many places should I embed the map on our website?

We ask that you embed the map on no more than two pages of your website — for example, your "Report a Lost Pet" page and your "Report a Found Pet" page. Please avoid embedding the map on your homepage.

Each time the map loads, Petco Love incurs a cost. Because the map is interactive and designed to update in real-time, it reloads every time a page is visited, refreshed, or turned (such as when someone browses through multiple pages of pets).

To help us manage these ongoing costs and ensure we can continue offering this map service for free to organizations like yours, we kindly ask you to be mindful of where and how often the map is embedded. Keeping it limited to one or two key pages — and not on your homepage — helps control expenses while still giving your visitors easy access to lost and found pet information.
