How do I edit or change a pet’s profile?

If your organization is integrated through your software, you do not need to update any pets information via your Petco Love Lost account. Any edits you make on your database will be pushed through to your pets on your Petco Love Lost account.   

Please note Petco Love Lost is currently able to integrate with ShelterLuv, ShelterBuddy, PetPoint, Chameleon, Rescue Groups,  & PetFinder. If you do not use one of the above, we are able to set up a manual account for you. With a manual account you WILL need to add, edit/change pets profiles.

Manual Accounts & how to edit or change a pet’s Profile: 

When logged into your account, click the Add a Pet button located on the top your screen there. See attachment to follow the steps of adding all information about the animal including an image. 

To edit an existing animal, you will need to click the "Pets in care" link on your dashboard page. Use the filtering feature to pull the pet in your care you would like to update and click on their photo. Make sure the toggle in the pets record is set to "Pet details". From there just click on the "Edit Pet Details" button under the photo of the pet, and to update any information – be sure to save when complete.
